Colorado Fall

The last few weeks have been really great. We went on a nice fall camping/house hunting trip. We found a house too! Its really nice, and we're excited to spend a snowy winter here.

This is our new apartment in downtown Crested Butte. We are very happy and excited about it.

View from the living room.

Beginning our drive near Cottonwood Pass.

I am so happy to be back in Colorado.

Camping out near Hartman's

We went on a little hike near Lake Irwin and parked near an old mine.

Me trying to figure out how to get to my sandwich.

Schkuykill's (a favorite bc ski area in the winter) with the Maroon Bells in the background.

View from the top of our hike.

Then, we spent the next two nights camped on Kebler Pass. I barely made it back in time for the peaking aspens.

Looking towards Mount Owen.

Very nice weather

Moonrise with a campfire

Very beautiful and warm night

We spent the next few hours playing with the camera and had a lot of fun

It was quite hard to get shimmied up in here

We also had fun with the lantern.

Cozy relaxed morning

Lots of chipmunks running around

On our way back to Woodland Park, we took a long detour route over Cumberland Pass.
Final view: Looking south towards East Beckwith from Kebler Pass.
